On 24 January B.E. 2569 (2026), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the 1st Training Program on Human Research Ethics (Social and Behavioral Sciences) for B.E. 2569 (2026) in an online format via ZOOM Cloud Meeting. The program aimed to strengthen knowledge and understanding of research ethics among faculty members, researchers, and relevant stakeholders, serving as an important pathway to enhancing research quality in accordance with international standards.
The opening ceremony was presided over by AsstProf Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development. The program report was delivered to the meeting by Dr. Doungjai Limsaksri, Vice-Director for Administration. The Institute was also honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yothin Sawaengdee, Chair of the Human Research Ethics Committee (Social and Behavioral Sciences), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, as the keynote speaker. He delivered a lecture titled “Principles of Human Research Ethics,” covering essential ethical practices required for conducting research involving human participants, as well as guidelines for preventing potential ethical issues that may arise during the implementation of research projects.
The training attracted strong interest from faculty members, researchers, and a large number of participants. Attendees actively participated by listening to the lecture and engaging in extensive discussions with the speaker through the online platform.
This training program supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting learning and enhancing researchers’ competencies; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by ensuring that research is conducted ethically, forming a foundation for high-quality knowledge creation and innovation; and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by fostering a transparent, accountable, and integrity-based research process.
