“Lifestyle Product Set from Vetiver Grass Fiber” Won Second Runner-Up Award in the 13th Vetiver Grass Development and Promotion Contest under the Royal Initiative 2023–2024
Associate Professor Dr. Rodjana Chandhasa, Director of the Research and Development Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, received the second runner-up award in the 13th Vetiver Grass Development and Promotion Contest under the Royal Initiative 2023 – 2024, in the category of promoting handicrafts from vetiver grass leaves. Ms. Suporn Trinarin, Secretary-General of the Committee for Coordination of Royal Projects, presented the award at the PTT Public Company Limited Head Office, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok.
The 13th Vetiver Grass Development and Promotion Contest under the Royal Initiative 2023 – 2024, held under the theme “Vetiver Grass Under Royal Patronage for Fertile Soil and Sustainable Water,” was a collaborative effort among organizations, including the Chaipattana Foundation, the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), the Department of Land Development, and PTT Public Company Limited. A total of 32 entries competed, divided into two categories: 22 awards for promoting planting and propagation, and 10 awards for promoting handicraft products from vetiver grass leaves.
This contest, established in 2006, has continued for over 18 years, honoring those who cultivated and propagated the use of vetiver grass for soil and water conservation, as well as creators of products from vetiver grass leaves from 2006 to 2024, a total of 522 works received awards.

2023-2024年第十三届皇家倡议香根草开发和推广竞赛以“陛下恩典下的香根草,培育良好的土壤,永续的水资源”为理念,合作举办机构包括:柴帕塔纳基金会、皇家发展项目协调特别委员会办公室(皇家发展项目办公室)、泰国国家石油股份有限公司,本次大赛共收到32件作品,分为两个类别:推广种植及果树推广类,共22个奖项;推广香根草叶工艺品类,共10个奖项。
皇家倡议香根草开发和推广竞赛项目自 2006 年成立,至今已持续超过 18 年,旨在表彰种植和推广使用香根草以保持水土的人,包括香根草叶产品的生产商,2006年至2024年,共有522名获奖者。
