SSRU Institute for Research and Development Undergoes Institutional Internal Quality Assessment Based on EdPEx Criteria for Academic Year 2024

On 14 January 2026, the Institute for Research and Development (IRD), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), participated in the institutional-level internal quality assessment under the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) framework for Academic Year 2024 (B.E. 2567).

On behalf of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, AsstProf Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, joined the assessment process alongside SSRU’s executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President. The university executives and relevant support units were interviewed by the assessment committee chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Karanrat Sunthornpan (M.D.), together with a panel of experts. The assessment took place at the University Council Meeting Room, Building 31, 5th Floor, and online via Google Meet.

This evaluation forms part of SSRU’s systematic quality enhancement process to strengthen organizational excellence across EdPEx categories, with particular emphasis on Category 4 (Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management), Category 5 (Workforce), and Category 6 (Operations). The interviews reflected the university’s overall performance, resource management, research development, personnel support, and continuous process improvement to ensure efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness to stakeholders—ultimately contributing to the enhancement of SSRU’s overall education and research quality.

The assessment committee also provided recommendations to support SSRU’s continuous and sustainable improvement toward excellence, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals—especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) through strengthening institutional quality and academic standards on an ongoing basis.
