Institute for Research and Development Holds Briefing on Fundamental Fund Research Grant Application Guidelines for Fiscal Year B.E. 2571

On July 8, 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized an online briefing titled “Guidelines for Applying for Research Grants under the Thailand Science, Research and Innovation Fund (Fundamental Fund) for Fiscal Year B.E. 2571” via Zoom Meeting. The activity aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of the criteria, guidelines, and procedures for preparing research proposals in alignment with the policies of the Office of the Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Committee, as well as the university’s research development direction.

The activity was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, who delivered welcoming remarks and presented the university’s research policy directions. Her address emphasized the importance of encouraging researchers to develop high-quality research proposals that can effectively respond to the development needs of the university, local communities, and the country.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, together with Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication; Lecturer Wisut Siripornnopakhun, Vice-Director for Administration; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri, Vice-Director for Academic Services; and Lecturer Atidtaya Buasri, Vice-Director for Intellectual Property Management and Business Incubation, provided a briefing on the principles, guidelines, and funding framework for Fundamental Fund research grant applications for Fiscal Year B.E. 2571.

The briefing covered key topics including grant application criteria, procedures for preparing research proposals, project evaluation guidelines, and important considerations in proposal development. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views with the speakers.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through the promotion of knowledge and researcher capacity development; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through support for research and innovation that respond to development needs; SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, through research-driven community and local development; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through integrated collaboration among university executives, researchers, and relevant departments to enhance the university’s research capacity.
