Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Participates in and Showcases Research Innovations at the 2026 Japan Design, Idea and Invention Expo (JDIE 2026) in Osaka, Japan

From July 3 to 4, 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, was selected to participate in and showcase research and innovation works at the 2026 Japan Design, Idea and Invention Expo (JDIE 2026) in Osaka, Japan. The international platform provided opportunities for researchers, inventors, and educational institutions from around the world to present their works, exchange knowledge, and build collaborative networks in research and innovation, with the aim of advancing research potential toward international utilization.On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, together with Lecturer Atidtaya Buasri, Vice-Director for Intellectual Property Management, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri, Vice-Director for Academic Services of the Institute for Research and Development, led a team of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University researchers to present eight selected research and innovation works, as follows:

Participation in this international event reflects the university’s mission to promote and enhance the quality of research, innovation, and intellectual property on the global stage. It also supports the development of academic and research collaboration networks with organizations in Thailand and abroad, serving as an important mechanism for strengthening research capacity, fostering innovation, and supporting national development based on knowledge.Furthermore, the presentation of research and innovation works at JDIE 2026 aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, through the development of innovations that promote health, quality of life, and well-being; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through the promotion of research, innovation creation, and knowledge transfer to enhance scientific, technological, and industrial capacity; SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, through the efficient use of resources, value creation from waste materials, and environmentally friendly production based on the circular economy concept; SDG 13: Climate Action, through the development of innovations that help reduce environmental impacts, promote sustainable resource use, and support climate change response; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through the strengthening of collaboration among universities, government agencies, the private sector, and international networks to exchange knowledge and jointly advance sustainable development.This achievement reinforces the role of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University as a higher education institution committed to generating and disseminating knowledge, creating innovations that respond to social and national development needs, and advancing research outputs toward international utilization. These efforts contribute to value creation and positive impacts on the economy, society, and the environment in a sustainable manner.
