On 12 December 2025, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Rosjana Chandhasa, Ph.D., Vice President for Research and Development, together with Asst. Prof. Morakot Worachairungreung, Ph.D., Director of the Institute for Research and Development, joined a merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on the occasion of the 50th day of remembrance (Pannasomawar) since her passing.

The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Komson Sommanawat, Ph.D., Vice President for Administration, and featured ten Buddhist monks from Wat Rajathiwas Rajaworavihara who chanted sacred prayers and received alms dedicated as royal merit. The event took place on Level 1 of the Office of the President building at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

This participation reflects the University’s commitment to preserving Thailand’s cultural and royal traditions while fostering unity and civic-mindedness within the campus community. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—notably SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) through the safeguarding and transmission of cultural heritage, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by cultivating values of loyalty, cohesion, and good governance across the University.
