The Institute for Research and Development Holds a Proposal Review and Presentation Meeting for the Student Prototype Product Development Grant for Fiscal Year 2026

On 13 February 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a meeting to review project proposals for the Student Prototype Product Development Grant, funded under the revenue budget for Fiscal Year 2026 as part of the annual action plan for the 2026 fiscal year. The grant aims to allocate funding support for the development of student prototype products, offering 20 grants of 10,000 baht each.

The grant allocation is intended to encourage students to develop creative ideas and apply their knowledge and research outcomes toward the creation of innovative prototypes with strong potential for further development, commercialization, and future business establishment.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Atidtaya Buasri, Vice-Director of Intellectual Property Management and Business Incubation, to deliver the opening remarks. The meeting was also honored by the participation of distinguished committee members who joined in reviewing the proposals and offering valuable recommendations to the students, namely Asst. A total of 28 project proposals were presented by students from various faculties and colleges of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, together with their academic advisors, for consideration for grant support. The presentations were conducted creatively through the Zoom Meeting platform, with students comprehensively presenting their ideas, development processes, and the potential of their prototype products.

This meeting served as an important platform for students to present their work, concepts, and prototype product development plans to a panel of distinguished experts in order to receive constructive feedback for further improvement. It also provided an opportunity to enhance the completeness of their projects and prepare them for practical application in the future, thereby promoting students’ innovation capabilities in a concrete and sustainable manner.

In addition, the initiative emphasizes the development of projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8 ), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
