“UD-fire: A Web Application for Decision Support in Determining Early Burning Periods” Won Appropriate Technology Innovation Award at the 2nd Learning and Innovation Community Exhibition
On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Rodjana Chandhasa, Director of the Research and Development Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, received a certificate of appreciation for the university's participation in the exhibition and congratulated Mr. Phuphat Phapannaphaphum, a lecturer in Engineering Management, Faculty of Industrial Technology and Engineering, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Mr. Phuphat, as the project leader for the “Ching Dee Dai Dee” Community Forest Management Innovation Project, which aimed to enhance the economic potential of community forests through sustainable conservation, received the Appropriate Technology Award at “The 2nd Learning and Innovation Community Award” event. This event was organized by the Program Management Unit on Area-Based Development (PMU A) in collaboration with the Research Coordination and Management Program to create a high-potential platform for advancing community innovation projects. Professor Dr. Tritos Laosirihongthong presented the award at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok.
The 2nd Learning and Innovation Community Exhibition was held under the theme “Empowering Innovators with Key Innovations for a Sustainable Learning Community,” and showcased research progress that addressed community challenges and fostered the development of innovation-driven communities. The event’s goals were to disseminate research under the community innovation and appropriate technology expansion programs to the public, raising broad awareness and enhancing competitiveness in the grassroots economy. This is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 9: Building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation.

2024年9月17日，国立宣素南塔皇家大学研究与发展学院院长Rodjana Chandhasa 副教授为参展机构颁发证书，并祝贺国立宣素南塔皇家大学工程与工业技术学院工程管理讲师Phuphat Phapannaphaphum 教授作为社区森林管理系统创新项目“良好竞争”的领导者，在可持续保护的基础上增加社区森林的经济潜力，在第二届“创新学习社区”竞赛暨展览中获得创新/适宜技术（Appropriate Technology）类奖项，此次活动由地区发展基金行政和管理单位与研究协调和使用管理项目共同组织，通过创建一个具有巨大潜力的平台来推动创新学习社区项目，该奖项由Tritos Laosirihongthong教授颁发，地点为曼谷水门伯克利酒店。
第二届“创新学习社区”竞赛暨展览以“为创新者提供卓越的创新能力，打造可持续的学习社区”为理念，展示与解决社区人们的问题相关的研究成果的进展，包括创建创新社区、社区创新者发展和整合知识用于国家发展，举办活动的目的是向公众传播创新社区计划和适当技术扩展计划下的研究成果，以形成广泛的认识并提高基层经济的竞争力水平，这符合可持续发展目标 (SDGs) 的目标 8：推动经济持续增长、全面、可持续、充分和生产性就业，并为每个人提供有意义的工作、目标9：创建可灵活更改的基础架构，推动产业全面可持续发展，并促进创新。
