Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri Shares Knowledge on “The Quality of Community Impact in Alignment with the SDGs”
On August 17, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri, Vice-Director of the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, was honored to serve as a guest speaker in a workshop aimed at enhancing strategic knowledge and understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The workshop was organized by the College of Logistics and Supply Chain and held at the meeting room of Kaew Chao Chom Hotel, Nakhon Pathom Campus, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
During the afternoon session, held from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m., Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri delivered a lecture and conducted activities on the topic “The Quality of Community Impact in Alignment with the SDGs.” The session aimed to promote knowledge and understanding of operations that can generate positive impacts on communities, while concretely linking the implementation of the Rajabhat University Strategy for Local Development with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The activity emphasized the importance of considering outcomes and impacts on communities alongside strategic understanding. It encouraged participants to apply SDG concepts in planning and implementing initiatives that align with local and community contexts, as well as in measuring and evaluating social impacts. These elements are essential to creating quality and sustainable development.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri’s participation as a guest speaker reflects the role of the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in promoting the application of research and development knowledge to community and social development, while supporting the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The knowledge-sharing session served as an important mechanism for translating university knowledge into practical benefits for community and social development. It also promoted operations that take quality impacts into account, contributing to the continued effort to achieve sustainable development.
