????Suan Sunandha Research and Development Institute Holds “Research Roadshow” to Outline the Research Direction for the Faculty of Education, Fiscal Year 2026

On 17 December 2025 at 2:00 p.m., the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, conducted a travelling briefing to communicate its operational framework for Fiscal Year 2026 to the executives, lecturers, and staff of the Faculty of Education. The session aimed to build shared understanding and strengthen a systematic drive for the University’s research agenda.

The briefing was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, together with Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, and the Institute’s division heads and relevant personnel. Key content covered the development plan for enhancing SSRU researchers’ capabilities; performance appraisal criteria; guidelines for applying for University revenue-funded grants (both individual and unit grants); strategies for publishing in national and international academic journals; the “SSRU x SDGs” initiative; procedures for research ethics approval in human subjects; and processes for filing patent/utility model applications.

The event was warmly received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kannikar Piromrat, Dean of the Faculty of Education, at the Kannaporn Pipat Meeting Room 1157, Building 57, 5th Floor. The “Research Roadshow” serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and alignment between the Institute for Research and Development and the University’s faculties, integrating collaboration to elevate SSRU’s research and innovation to international standards and to translate outcomes into practical benefits in classrooms, communities, and industry efficiently and sustainably.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals by enhancing the competencies and research-learning ecosystem of faculty and students (SDG 4), fostering a professional work environment and advancing the academic careers and value of research in teacher education (SDG 8 ), advancing research, innovation, and intellectual property toward internationally recognized knowledge infrastructures (SDG 9), reinforcing good governance, transparency, and verifiable standards of research ethics (SDG 16), and connecting collaborative efforts within the University to drive sustainable results (SDG 17)
