????Suan Sunandha Research and Development Institute Holds “Research Roadshow” to Outline Research Direction for the Faculty of Law, Fiscal Year 2026

On 17 December 2025 at 10:00 a.m., the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, conducted a travelling briefing to communicate its operational framework for Fiscal Year 2026 to executives, lecturers, and staff of the Faculty of Law, with the aim of building shared understanding and strengthening a systematic drive for the University’s research agenda.

The session was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, together with the executive team—Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, and Dr. Duangjai Limsaksri, Vice-Director for Administration—alongside division heads and relevant personnel. Key topics included the development plan for enhancing SSRU researchers’ capabilities; explanations of performance appraisal criteria; guidelines for applying for University revenue-funded grants (both individual and unit grants); strategies for publishing in national and international academic journals; the “SSRU x SDGs” initiative; procedures for research ethics approval in human subjects; and processes for filing patent/utility model applications.

The briefing was warmly received by the Faculty’s leadership at Room 2222, Building 22, 2nd Floor. The “Research Roadshow” serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and for aligning directions between the Institute for Research and Development and the University’s faculties, integrating collaboration to elevate SSRU’s research and innovation to international standards and translate outcomes into practical benefits for industry and society efficiently and sustainably.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals by strengthening the competencies and research-learning ecosystem of faculty and students in a continuous, high-quality manner (SDG 4); fostering a professional work environment and career progression for researchers and innovators (SDG 8 ); advancing research, innovation, and intellectual property toward international standards and real-world utilization (SDG 9); reinforcing good governance, transparency, and robust standards of research ethics and the rule of law within higher education (SDG 16); and connecting collaborative efforts among the Institute, the Faculty of Law, and internal units to drive sustainable outcomes at both university and societal levels (SDG 17)
