The Institute of Research and Development Collaborated with Biodiversity-based Economy Development Office (BEDO) to Organized a Competition for Presenting Ideas to Develop the “Biodiversity Catalog,” a Biological Data Database System

The Institute of Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, under the collaboration with Biodiversity-based Economy Development Office (Public Organization) or BEDO organized a competition for presenting ideas to develop the “Biodiversity Catalog,” a biological data database system at Chokaew Meeting Room, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and via online platform on September 2023. The event was honored by Dr. Thanit Changthaworn, the BEDO Deputy Director, to give an opening speech, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wat Ploysri, the Vice Director of Academic Services Subdivision, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, to report the objectives as well as give a welcoming remark to the qualify committees including Dr. Thanit Changthaworn, the BEDO Deputy Director, Ms. Natthiya Kongphuthorn, the Director of the BEDO Knowledge Development and Management Office, Associate Professor Dr. Panita Wannapirun, Lecturer of the Department of Education, Technology and Information, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Assistant Professor Dr. Nutthapat Kaewrattanapat, the Lecturer of the Department of Digital Technology for Education, Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and Dr. Pathamapon Thaowphan, the Lecturer of the Department of Digital Information Management, Faculty of Management Science, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University

The presentation of  ideas to develop the “Biodiversity Catalog,” a biological data database system aimed to showcase a diverse range of concepts for designing an economic database based on biological resources within the Biodiversity Catalog of the young generation to enhance the database innovation capabilities of qualified students as well as to encourage access to the database system to increase the value of biological resources, and transfer the use of information to the new generation from the biological database and pass it on to communities and localities. There were 14 participating teams of student representatives from 6 institutions including Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University, Roi Et Rajabhat University, Suranaree University of Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Phetchaburi Information Campus of Silpakorn University.

《生物多样性目录》旨在展示下一代生物多样性目录中生物基经济数据库设计的多样性和创新性。它帮助选择学生发展和增强他们的数据库创新能力。它还刺激对数据库系统的访问，增加生物资源的价值，为从生物基地诞生的新一代信息利用转移做好准备，并将其传递到社区和地方。有来自6所院校的学生代表感兴趣并组成了14个团队提交作品。参与院校包括国立宣素南塔皇家大学、泰国钱德拉卡森皇家大学、泰国横逸皇家师范大学、艺术大学、先皇技术学院（拉卡邦）、素罗娜丽科技大学。
