
The Institute for Research and Development Participates in Workshop to Define the Future Development Direction of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University
From June 28 to 30, 2026, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized a workshop titled “Guidelines for Driving Policy and Future Development Directions of the University” at Phumontra Resort, Nakhon Nayok Province. The workshop aimed to jointly define the university’s development direction in response to the changing landscape of higher education and to prepare the organization for sustainable advancement.The Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the workshop, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development; Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication; and Lecturer Wisut Siripornnopakhun, Vice-Director for Administration.The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, who also delivered a special lecture on the university’s adaptation strategies to address challenges and competition amid changes in higher education. The workshop was also honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ruedech Kerdwichai, President of the University Council, who shared insights on strategic management, the application of OKRs, and budget management to enhance organizational operational efficiency.Throughout the workshop, participants exchanged views, contributed policy perspectives, and reviewed key issues related to the university’s future development. These included the strategic positioning of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, pathways toward becoming an autonomous university, the review of the university’s vision and strategies, and the formulation of organizational directions to respond to future changes and lead the university toward stable and sustainable development.This activity reflects the role of the Institute for Research and Development in actively contributing to the advancement of the university’s strategic direction, particularly in enhancing educational quality, promoting innovation and effective management systems, and strengthening internal collaboration to prepare for future transformation.The workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
