
Institute for Research and Development Discusses a Proactive Framework for International Relations
On 19 November 2025, the Institute for Research and Development (IRD), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, held a consultative meeting to chart a proactive framework and actionable plan for advancing the University’s international relations agenda. The session was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, with participation from Asst. Prof. Dr. Wat Ploysri, Vice-Director for Academic Services, and Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Dissemination.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tonphon Sapnirund, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and attended by university executives. It was convened at the Panjamraj Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Office of the President.
The discussion focused on establishing strategic international partnerships through Memoranda of Understanding/Agreements, developing joint research and co-publication mechanisms, promoting researcher and student mobility, and strengthening international research funding channels—initiatives that align with (SDG 4 Quality Education) by expanding learning opportunities and capacity building, (SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by translating research and innovation into use, and (SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals) by building substantive, results-oriented global collaborations.
