The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Thammanoon Nuamanong, Deputy Director of the Office of Chiang Mai University, who joined the session to share ideas and experiences. This marked another important step for the University in building a common understanding of the principles, approaches, and scope of research-related operations—one of the key mechanisms for enhancing educational quality, strengthening research performance, and improving the University’s international reputation. The meeting also aimed to deepen administrators’ and faculty members’ understanding so that they could work together to drive Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University toward global rankings in a concrete and systematic manner.

The President also expressed the expectation that the meeting would serve as a forum for learning and knowledge exchange and would lead to clear operational directions that will benefit the University’s long-term development. She then officially declared the meeting open and wished all participants success in achieving the meeting’s objectives.

This meeting also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in several dimensions, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through enhancing teaching and learning quality and elevating university standards to an international level; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by strengthening research and research-support systems to generate innovation and practically applicable knowledge; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the exchange of ideas and experiences with partner universities to develop concrete mechanisms for collaboration. In addition, the meeting supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by developing personnel capacity and promoting the utilization of research outputs, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by improving research governance and management systems with clear direction, transparency, and accountability—key foundations for strengthening the University’s credibility on the international stage.
