Drive a Unified Research
System
On 22 December 2025, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), held an online briefing session via Zoom Meeting on the “High-Potential Research Grant Program for Fiscal Year 2026 (B.E. 2569).” The session aimed to ensure a shared understanding of policy direction, eligibility criteria, and the university’s research grant management framework, while strengthening the quality of project proposals toward clear and measurable outcomes.
On this occasion, AsstProf Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, to present detailed procedures and grant management guidelines. The session also provided a comprehensive Q&A to address participants’ questions.
The briefing drew strong interest from university administrators and researchers. A total of 18 project proposals from eight units were submitted for participation, reflecting SSRU’s active research momentum and reinforcing IRD’s proactive role in enhancing researcher capacity and strengthening the university’s academic support system in a systematic and sustainable manner.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through strengthening researcher competencies and the university’s learning ecosystem; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by extending research outcomes toward career opportunities and economic value creation; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through improving the quality of research projects and supporting international publication standards; SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through transparent, accountable, and auditable grant management processes; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by integrating collaboration among faculties, units, and academic networks to deliver concrete outcomes.
