Suan Sunandha Presents “Geospatial Platform for Road Traffic Accident Risk Analysis and Prediction” at IEI 2026

Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University presented its research and innovation project titled “Geospatial Platform for Road Traffic Accident Risk Analysis and Prediction” in the competition and exhibition at The 12th International Exhibition of Inventions (IEI 2026), held in Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China, from August 21 to 23, 2026.

The project was developed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Asst. Prof. Pornperm Sae-ngow, Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanyapat Thanakulwuttiroj from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The innovation focuses on developing a geospatial platform for analyzing and predicting road traffic accident risks. It supports spatial data analysis, helps identify high-risk areas, and provides insights into accident patterns. The information generated from the platform can be used to support effective planning and the development of preventive measures for road traffic accidents.

The presentation of this innovation formed part of the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University’s participation in IEI 2026, an international platform that provides opportunities for researchers, inventors, and educational institutions from various countries to present their works, exchange knowledge, and build research and innovation networks. The event also supports the dissemination and further development of the university’s research outputs for international utilization.
