Ceremony Marking the Centenary of King
Rama VI’s Passing and the
Centenary of the Birth of Princess
Petcharat Rajsuda
On 24 November 2025, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in a merit-making ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Her Royal Highness Princess Petcharat Rajsuda Sirisopaphannawadee. Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, delegated Dr. Duangjai Limsaksri, Vice Director for Administration, to attend the ceremony together with institute staff.
The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and comprised the offering of a morning meal to the Buddhist monastic community and a dry-food alms offering. The event was held at the Office of the President Building, 1st Floor, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
This participation underscores the university’s commitment to upholding cultural heritage, royal institutions, and communal harmony, aligning with (SDG 16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through adherence to good governance and institutional traditions, and with (SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities) through the preservation of cultural heritage and active engagement of the academic community in public-spirited activities.
