Congratulations! Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Research Wins International Silver Medal in the People’s Republic of China

The research project “Application of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision for the Diagnosis of Dry Leaf Disease in Rice” received the Silver Medal at The 12th International Exhibition of Inventions (IEI 2026), held in Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China.

The project was developed by Lecturer Wassamon Saentaweesuk and Lecturer Atidtaya Buasri from the College of Innovation and Management, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The university’s participation in this international competition was supported and promoted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development. Their efforts reflect the university’s commitment to encouraging and strengthening the capacity of researchers in creating research, innovation, and creative works, while driving high-quality outputs to international competitions in order to enhance the university’s research standards and global recognition.

This achievement marks another proud success for Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. It reflects the capability of Thai researchers in creating and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision technologies to develop innovations that can extend knowledge and respond to development needs. It also contributes to advancing the body of knowledge and research excellence of both the university and Thailand onto the international stage.
