SSRU Invites Researchers to Submit National Security Research Pre-Proposals for Fiscal Year 2028

The Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, invites faculty members and researchers to submit Pre-Proposals for National Security Research Projects for Fiscal Year 2028, in response to the call for proposals issued by the Defence Science and Technology Department (DSTD)

The proposals will support the preparation of research funding requests from the Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Fund, with an emphasis on developing knowledge, technologies, and innovations that address emerging challenges in national security and defense.Research Framework

The call covers 2 major research programs

• Program 5 (P5): Preparing for the Future through Frontier ResearchFocuses on developing advanced technologies and innovations to address global risks, strengthen national security and defense capabilities, and promote greater self-reliance.

• Program 6 (P6): Strengthening National SecuritySupports research and innovation in national security and defense, including human resource development and the practical utilization of research outcomes.

For higher education institutions, funding proposals must be submitted as collaborative research projects with agencies responsible for national security missions, in accordance with the criteria and conditions specified by the funding agency.

Submission Deadline

• Pre-Proposals must be submitted by October 30, 2026.
