Call for ST 2028 Proposals
Science and Technology Development Fund
Funding Support for Science and Technology Development, Fiscal Year 2028
The fund aims to support investment in the development and enhancement of Thailand’s science and technology infrastructure, promote sustainable shared utilization, and strengthen the country’s research and innovation capacity.
Funding Categories
The call is divided into 2 categories:
• STI – Science and Technology Infrastructure Development
Supports the development and enhancement of science and technology infrastructure, such as laboratories, advanced research equipment, research centers, and scientific digital infrastructure.
• NQI – National Quality Infrastructure Development
Supports the development and enhancement of quality infrastructure, including standards, testing, calibration, certification, and quality assessment systems.
The call covers 3 frameworks and 6 key strategic areas:
Framework A: Enhancing National Competitiveness
Health innovation and translation into clinical application
Advanced industries and intelligent manufacturing systems
Bioeconomy, smart agriculture, and biomanufacturing
Secure, resilient, and sustainable low-carbon energy
Framework B: Strengthening National Knowledge Sovereignty and Security
National knowledge sovereignty and security
Framework C: Creating Social and Cultural Value for Thailand
Heritage science and cultural assets

• Open from now until October 30, 2026
Proposal Submission
Submit proposals through the NRIIS system:
