Their participation aimed to gain insights into the development and utilization of the National Science and Technology Information System (NSTIS) and the Science and Technology Appropriation Request System (STARS), key platforms for integrating and managing infrastructure data related to science, research, and innovation.

The event featured the launch of the NSTIS & STARS systems, a panel discussion on Open Science Infrastructure, and workshops on the use of the STARS and NSTIS platforms. These activities were designed to enhance participants’ understanding of how to systematically utilize databases and infrastructure related to science, research, and innovation.

The Institute’s participation reflects its commitment to applying digital technologies and database systems to support research management, while strengthening collaboration with agencies in the fields of science, research, and innovation. These efforts contribute to advancing the university’s research operations in alignment with the country’s sustainable development direction.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
