
The Institute for Research and Development Organizes Online Training on NRCT Grant Application Guidelines for Fiscal Year 2027 to Strengthen Researchers’ Capacity in Developing Quality Proposals
On June 22, 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized an online training program titled “Guidelines for Applying for Research Grants from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for Fiscal Year 2027” via Zoom Meeting. The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of research policies and directions, funding frameworks, criteria, conditions, and procedures for submitting research proposals, as well as approaches to developing high-quality proposals that align with national strategies.
On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, to deliver the welcoming remarks and officially open the training. The program attracted strong interest from more than 100 lecturers, researchers, and relevant personnel.
The training was honored by the participation of Ms. Sunanta Sompong, Research Advisor in Science at the National Research Council of Thailand, who delivered a lecture on “Guidelines for Applying for Research Grants from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for Fiscal Year 2027.” In addition, Prof. Dr. Pichet Limsuwan from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi gave a lecture on “Research Frameworks, Criteria, Conditions, and Procedures for Submitting Research Proposals.”
The speakers shared knowledge and practical techniques on proposal preparation, research framework analysis, outcome indicator formulation, and key considerations in grant applications. The training was designed to enable researchers to develop research proposals more effectively and increase their opportunities to secure research funding.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
