“Suan Sunandha Accelerates Research to the Global Stage, Aiming for Continuous Gains in the QS World University Rankings”

On 28 November 2025 at 13:00, the Institute for Research and Development (IRD), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, convened a strategic meeting to discuss the implementation of the “Research Grants for High-Potential Talent to Enter and Advance in Researcher and Innovator Careers” under Thailand’s national STI budget for fiscal years 2024–2025 (B.E. 2567–2568). The initiative targets a step-change in research quality to propel the University’s performance in the QS World University Rankings.

The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice President for Research and Development, and joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, Tonphon Sapnirund, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, together with the relevant working group.

Held in an online format, the session focused on roadmap alignment, research-driven strategy, and capacity-building for researchers to elevate outputs to international standards and strengthen the University’s trajectory toward improved global ranking outcomes.
