“AI for Teacher”: SSRU Collaborates with Schools in Samut Songkhram to Enhance Teachers’ Capacity in Teaching and Research

Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is strengthening the capacity of teachers from schools in Samut Songkhram Province through the hands-on workshop “AI for Teacher: Enhancing Classroom Learning.” The program integrates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with classroom action research to support teachers in designing instruction based on learners’ needs and real classroom challenges.

The workshop is scheduled for October 27–28, 2026, at Amphawa Na Non Hotel, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, under the Rajabhat University for Local Development Project. The program emphasizes practical learning to enable participating teachers to apply the knowledge and techniques directly in their own classrooms.

The training covers effective communication with AI for content creation, 5E instructional planning, educational media development, and the design of a happy classroom, led by Dr. Sivaporn Linthaluek and Mr. Chayakorn Wimonchat. Participants will also learn the principles and development of classroom action research proposals from Asst. Prof. Dr. Patcharaporn Pilasombat and Lecturer Dr. Duangkamon Jongcharoen. These sessions aim to provide teachers with a foundation for identifying classroom problems, designing approaches to improve teaching and learning, and systematically evaluating outcomes.

The initiative aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening teachers’ capacity to effectively integrate technology and research processes into teaching. The practical implementation of lesson plans and learning materials, together with the monitoring of student outcomes, will also provide valuable information for evaluating the longer-term impact and effectiveness of the training.
