Taking Research Further: Suan Sunandha Opens Intensive Workshop to Advance Research Publications toward the Global Scopus Standard

The Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Promoting International Research Publication among Full-Time Lecturers and Researchers” from July 23 to 24, 2026, at the Chokaew Meeting Room, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The workshop aimed to enhance the capacity of lecturers and researchers in developing high-quality research manuscripts and advancing their work toward publication in international academic journals.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, to preside over the opening ceremony. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of improving the quality of research outputs to meet international publication standards and support the university’s research performance indicators.

The workshop was designed to equip lecturers and researchers with the knowledge, understanding, and practical skills needed to develop research manuscripts and increase their chances of publication in journals indexed in Scopus and ranked in SJR Quartiles 1–4. It also aimed to support collaborative research development with universities ranked among the world’s top 500 in the QS World University Rankings.

The workshop was honored by Prof. Dr. Alongkot Tanomtong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasart Nuangchalerm, who served as guest speakers. They shared knowledge, techniques, and professional experience in research article writing, manuscript quality development, and preparation strategies for submission to international academic journals. More than 25 research manuscripts were submitted by lecturers and researchers participating in the program.

This workshop forms part of the university’s strategic efforts to advance research development by continuously strengthening researchers’ capabilities, supporting the production of high-quality research outputs, and expanding opportunities for disseminating the university’s academic knowledge on the international stage. These efforts serve as a key mechanism for further enhancing the research strength of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
