On September 9, 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Using the National Research and Innovation Information System (NRIIS/ORIIS) for Research Proposal Submission.” The training aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding among lecturers and researchers and prepare them to develop and submit research proposals accurately, completely, and efficiently.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, to deliver the welcoming remarks and officially open the training. He emphasized the importance of strengthening researchers’ capacity in both research proposal development and the effective use of research information systems.

The training was conducted by Mr. Anuphan Suttimarn, Head of General Administration, who shared practical knowledge, techniques, and step-by-step guidance on using the NRIIS (ORIIS) system. The session covered data preparation, entering project details, verifying the completeness and accuracy of information, and submitting research proposals, enabling participants to apply the knowledge directly in practice.

More than 70 lecturers and researchers participated in the training, reflecting strong interest in enhancing research capacity and improving the quality of research proposals to better meet the requirements and expectations of funding agencies.

The Institute for Research and Development expects that the knowledge gained from this training will help improve the efficiency of research proposal submissions and increase opportunities for researchers to access research funding. The initiative also aims to support the development of high-quality research and innovation that can generate tangible benefits for society, communities, and the nation.
