Institute for Research and Development Enhances Personnel Capacity in Social Impact Assessment through SROI Workshop

The Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a workshop on “Social Return on Investment (SROI)” on March 12–13 and April 27–28, 2026, at SD Avenue Hotel, Bangkok.

The workshop aimed to strengthen university personnel’s knowledge and skills in assessing the social impact of projects under the Rajabhat University Strategy for Local Development. Participants learned about stakeholder analysis, Social Impact Assessment (SIA), and SROI calculation as key tools for evaluating the social value and effectiveness of development projects.

This training will help personnel design and evaluate local development and academic service projects more systematically, ensuring that university initiatives create meaningful benefits for communities and support sustainable local development.

The activity aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
