Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Showcases Research and Innovation to Drive Thailand’s Economy at IP X VENTURE RISE THAILAND 2026

The Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, through its Intellectual Property Management and Business Incubation Division, presented innovation works derived from research and intellectual property at “IP X VENTURE RISE THAILAND 2026: Innovation for Revenue Generation.” The event was organized by the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, from August 27 to 29, 2026, at Hall 8, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.

The university’s participation in this event marks another proud achievement for Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in bringing research-based knowledge and innovation to a national intellectual property exhibition platform. The event provided opportunities for the works of researchers and lecturers to be publicized, connected with the business sector, investors, and entrepreneurs, and further developed for commercial utilization.

On this occasion, two intellectual property works from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University were selected for exhibition in the Showcase & Innovation zone, as follows:

Ricemind: An Intelligent Platform for Diagnosing Dry Leaf Disease in Rice Fields (E07)

This innovation applies Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision technologies to diagnose dry leaf disease in rice fields, supporting more efficient management of agricultural challenges.

The project was developed by Lecturer Atidtaya Buasri and Lecturer Wassamon Saentaweesuk from the College of Innovation and Management, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

This innovation reflects the application of digital technology to the agricultural sector. It helps expand access to data for analysis and decision-making, while also providing opportunities for further development of innovations and services that respond to the future needs of the agricultural sector.

Lip Balm from Recycled Beeswax Combined with Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil (Booth B18)

This product innovation adds value to waste materials by developing them into a lip care product. It combines the beneficial properties of recycled beeswax with cocoa butter and coconut oil to create a product with strong potential for creative commercial development.

The project was developed by Lecturer Suphawan Sanyalakruachai; Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanyapat Thanakulwuttiroj from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts; Lecturer Suwita Prueksa-aporn from the College of Innovation and Management; Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Mr. Somporn Phukhang; and Mrs. Chanchila Phukhang.

This work reflects the concept of efficient resource utilization, value creation from waste materials, and the development of innovation that connects research-based knowledge with economic opportunities.
