SSRU Participates in QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026, Advancing Thai Higher Education on the Global Stage

On November 3, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, together with Lecturer Dr. Tonfon Sapnirun, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Kornkamol Chuchuay, Assistant to the President for Curriculum and Instructional Management; Lecturer Wisut Siripornnopakhun, Vice-Director for Administration, Institute for Research and Development; and personnel from the International Affairs Division, participated in the “QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026” at the Bali International Convention Centre, Bali, Republic of Indonesia.

The summit was organized by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a leading global higher education analytics and university rankings organization, with BINUS University, Indonesia, serving as the principal host. Held under the theme “Advancing Education for Purpose and Impact,” the event brought together more than 1,000 university leaders, academics, policymakers, and education experts from across the region to exchange knowledge, explore approaches to higher education development, and strengthen international academic networks.

Participation in the summit provided an important opportunity for SSRU to explore approaches to enhancing the quality of education, research, and innovation in line with international standards. The delegation also exchanged experiences in university management and gained insights into QS assessment and ranking criteria, which can be applied to strategic planning and institutional development.

The event further provided opportunities to strengthen academic collaboration with leading higher education institutions across the Asia-Pacific region and to expand the university’s international network.
