The Institute of Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Opened Training on “Principles of Ethics in Human Research in Social Sciences and Behavioral Sciences” Focused on Developing Research Ethics Knowledge in Accordance with International Ethical Principles
On September 7, 2023, at 09.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m., Institute of Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, opened the 2nd training on “Principles of Ethics in Human Research in Social Sciences and Behavioral Sciences” 2023. The training was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Bundit Pungnirund, the Vice President for Research and Development Subdivision, to preside to give an opening speech, and Assistant Professor Morakot Worachairungreung, the Vice Director of Research and Publication Subdivision to report the project objectives. The purpose of this training program was to educate researchers in the field of social sciences and behavioral sciences about research ethics, emphasizing the correct and ethical conduct of research, encourage researchers to utilize their knowledge to create beneficial research projects, while respecting the rights and dignity of the participants in the research, and ensure that research work is conducted fairly, in accordance with the ethical principles and international research standards. Associate Professor Dr. Yothin Sawangdee, the Chairman of the Human Research Ethics Committee, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, was a speaker on “Principles of Ethics in Human Research.” There were 292 attendees including lecturers and researchers from both public and private sectors online via Zoom Meeting.
