The Institute of Research and Development Cooperated with Private Sectors to Research on “Wolffia” to Apply Knowledge to Increase Local Plant Value
On September 7, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Rodjana Chandhasa, the Director of Research and Development Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, along with Assistant Professor Morakot Worachairungreung, the Vice Director of Research and Publication Subdivision, Assistant Professor Dr. Wat Ploysri, the Vice Director of Academic Services Subdivision, Assistant Professor Dr. Yuttana Sudjaroen, the Vice Director of Administration Subdivision, Ms. Atidtaya Bousri, the Manager of the Incubation Unit, and the working group of Research and Publication Subdivision conducted the meeting to discuss the development and research direction for the local aquatic plant known as "Wolffia" by cooperating with Ms. Suwadee Pachariyangkun, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Doctor WellnessX Co., Ltd., and Dr. Anna Pachariyangkun, the Founder & CEO Doctor WellnessX, for sharing problems and research needs to develop research projects that could lead to products aligned with the market demand for health and beauty. The researchers from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University including Assistant Professor Chanate Wanna, Assistant Professor Dr. Montharop Suthatham, Assistant Professor Dr. Wanida Wonsawat, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanittada Thongkao, Assistant Professor Dr. Jitlada Chumee, Dr. Saowanee Khamphan, and Dr. Ploysai Ohama, also participated via online. This event was considered a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange in building research collaborations and promoting joint research and innovation efforts, all contributing to new collaborations in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 17, which focuses on promoting partnerships for research and innovation policy cooperation.
