
The Institute for Research and Development of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized the “Research Program Evaluation” activity on 7 April 2026 via Zoom Meeting, providing an important platform for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and the further development of research toward sustainable economic and social impact at the community level.
On this occasion, AsstProf Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, to lead the organization of the activity. The event was attended by researchers, academics, and interested participants.
The program featured presentations and evaluations of three notable research programs: innovation for improving the quality and value of mangosteen products while transforming waste into high-value outputs to strengthen the sweet mangosteen export group in Ranong Province; a supply chain study on rice field crab farming and product development from waste for integrated value creation and income generation; and “Kla,” a prototype product innovation under the creative economy concept to drive the grassroots economy in Udon Thani Province.
The event was also honored by the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Suriya from the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, who provided academic recommendations to enhance the quality of the research and strengthen its potential for practical utilization.
This activity reflects the University’s commitment to advancing research for real-world application and sustainable local development. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
