Suan Sunandha IRD Conducts Field Visit to Muang Rae Nong to Monitor FF 2026 Research and Advance Emergency Medical Services for Tourist Safety

On July 31, 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, conducted a field visit to Ban Muang Ranong Museum, Ngao Subdistrict, Mueang Ranong District, Ranong Province, to monitor the progress of a research project under the Fundamental Fund program for Fiscal Year B.E. 2569. The visit also aimed to promote the practical utilization of research-based knowledge and innovation for the benefit of local communities and area-based development.

The field visit was conducted under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, who assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, together with Lecturer Wisut Siripornnopakhun, Vice-Director for Administration; Miss Pornthip Ruangprach, Head of Office of the Institute for Research and Development; and personnel from the Research and Publication Division and the General Administration Division, to monitor the implementation of the research project in Ranong Province.

During the visit, the executives and personnel attended a progress report presentation, followed up on the project’s outputs and outcomes, and listened to challenges, obstacles, and recommendations from the research team. They also exchanged views on approaches to further improving project implementation to ensure that the project achieves its planned objectives and that research-based knowledge can be extended for meaningful benefits in economic, social, environmental, community development, and area-based knowledge dimensions.

The research project monitored during this visit was titled “Management of Emergency Medical Service Systems to Support Tourist Safety in Muang Rae Nong.” The project is led by Lecturer Jirawat Sudsawart from the College of Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with researchers from the Faculty of Science and Technology and the College of Innovation and Management.

The project aims to study and develop effective management approaches for emergency medical service systems in alignment with the local context and tourism patterns of Muang Rae Nong. It seeks to enhance readiness in providing assistance to tourists during emergencies, reduce health and safety risks, and strengthen confidence among tourists and local entrepreneurs.
