
Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya Appoints Representative to Preside over the Opening of Thailand Inventors’ Day 2026
On 8 January 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya graciously appointed Ms. Ratirod Chulajata as her representative to preside over the opening ceremony of “Thailand Inventors’ Day 2026” (the 27th edition) and to present the National Research Awards for Fiscal Year 2026 to research teams across various fields. The ceremony took place at Event Hall 100–104, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bang Na, Bangkok, under the theme “Unlock Thailand – Power of Invention and Innovation.”
On this occasion, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) showcased three research and invention outputs with strong potential for real-world application. At Booth DD08, SSRU presented “Clothing made from Hom Thong banana fibers” and a “woven bag made from vetiver grass fibers,” exhibited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa and Dr. Panu Pattanapanithipong from the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology.
In addition, at Booth DC06, SSRU exhibited “health products from Bang Chang chili oil,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Pharmacist Pimporn Thongmuang (College of Allied Health Sciences), together with Assistant Professor Dr. Yuthana Sudcharoen, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanitda Thongkhao, Assistant Professor Kanyaphat Phetaraphon, and Dr. Nich Wongsongja (Faculty of Science and Technology), as well as Ms. Prangthong Nontakan (College of Allied Health Sciences).
Representing SSRU researchers, Assistant Professor Dr. Pharmacist Pimporn Thongmuang and Dr. Panu Pattanapanithipong also joined the welcoming ceremony for the royal representative. SSRU’s participation highlights the university’s commitment to translating research and innovation into tangible commercial and social impact, supporting Thailand’s sustainable development through knowledge-based innovation.
