
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University’s Institute for Research and Development Emphasizes Ethical Research Conduct through the Training Program on “Human Research Ethics” (Medical Sciences and Public Health), No. 1/2569 (2026)
On 26 January B.E. 2569 (2026), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the online training program on “Human Research Ethics” (Medical Sciences and Public Health), No. 1/2569 (2026) via Zoom Cloud Meeting. The program aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of human research ethics among faculty members, researchers, and relevant stakeholders—serving as a key mechanism to elevate research quality in line with international standards, while strictly safeguarding the safety, rights, and dignity of research participants.
The opening remarks were delivered by AsstProf Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, while the program report was presented to the meeting by Dr. Doungjai Limsaksri, Vice-Director for Administration, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
The Institute was honored to welcome distinguished speakers who shared their expertise and experience, including Asst. Prof. Budsaba Wiriyasirivaj, M.D., Lecturer, Reproductive Medicine Unit, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Busaba Supawattanabodee, Lecturer, Department of Research and Medical Innovation, Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University. Their lectures covered essential principles and practical guidelines required for conducting research involving human participants, as well as key precautions and approaches to preventing potential ethical issues during the implementation of research projects.
Participants attended the lectures and actively exchanged views with the speakers through the online platform, enabling them to correctly apply the knowledge in developing research proposals in a proper, transparent, and ethically compliant manner, consistent with standards for ethical review in human research.
This training program supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting research that prioritizes human safety and rights; SDG 4 (Quality Education) through continuous capacity building and learning for researchers; and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by supporting a research process that is transparent, accountable, and grounded in integrity.
