IRDs Joins National Forum on “Thai Research x Innovation 2026: Thailand SRI Index 2025”

On 4 December 2025, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication, to attend the national event “Thai Research x Innovation 2026: Thailand SRI Index 2025.” The forum was organized by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) in collaboration with the Office of the National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) and the World Bank, under the oversight of the Board of STI Promotion (STI Board). The event launched the Thailand SRI Index 2025 and outlined directions for advancing the national STI (science, technology, and innovation) system in the knowledge-based economy, at the Napalai Grand Ballroom, Dusit Thani Bangkok.

The Institute’s participation highlights its role in translating knowledge into system-level policy formulation for a stable and sustainable future. The engagement aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
