“Value-Added Products from Pomelo
Peel Waste” at RUNIRAC
VIII
From 1–3 December 2025, faculty researchers from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University presented research and innovation outputs in the Community Products & Intellectual Property zone at the 8th Rajabhat University National and International Research and Academic Conference (RUNIRAC VIII), held under the theme “Research and Innovation for Local Development toward Internationalization and the SDGs” at Sriwachirot Auditorium, Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Phitsanulok.
The exhibit “Value-Added Products from Pomelo Peel Waste,” led by Assistant Professor Dr. Jatuporn Ounprasertsuk, Ms. Kittiyaporn Duangbut, and Ms. Kanchanaporn Buaon from the College of Allied Health Sciences, transforms agricultural residues into high-value prototype products, offering a concrete model of the circular economy. The project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals by advancing SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through efficient use of residual resources, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) via innovation with commercialization potential, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by creating livelihood opportunities and income across the value chain.
