Institute for Research and Development Holds Briefing on NRCT Research and Innovation Grant Guidelines for Fiscal Year 2027 in Knowledge Management and Research Utilization Transfer

On July 8, 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a briefing session on the guidelines for applying for research and innovation grants from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for Fiscal Year 2027 in the area of Knowledge Management (KM) and research utilization transfer. The activity was held at the Chokaew Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, with the participation of university executives, lecturers, researchers, and personnel from faculties and departments across the university.

The activity aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of the principles, guidelines, scope of implementation, and process for preparing research project proposals in alignment with the NRCT funding framework. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Nayot Kulpanich, Vice-Director for Research and Publication. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, also delivered welcoming remarks to the participants.

The session was honored by the participation of Miss Pawanee Khamchalee, Director of the Research and Innovation Promotion and Support Division, who served as the guest speaker. She delivered a lecture titled “Guidelines for Applying for Research and Innovation Grants from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for Fiscal Year B.E. 2570.” The lecture provided key knowledge, criteria, operational guidelines, and important details related to NRCT research and innovation grant applications, enabling participants to apply the information in developing high-quality research proposals that align with the goal of creating tangible research utilization outcomes.

In addition, the activity provided an opportunity for participants to ask questions, exchange views, and receive direct guidance from the speaker. This helped strengthen the readiness of the university’s researchers and personnel in developing research projects related to knowledge management and utilization transfer, with the aim of extending research-based knowledge, creating value, and generating sustainable benefits for communities, society, and the nation.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting learning and enhancing researchers’ capacity to develop quality research proposals; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through support for research and innovation that can be practically utilized; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through collaboration among the university, researchers, and research funding agencies to drive knowledge toward sustainable value creation for communities, society, and the nation.
