
The Institute for Research and Development of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University joined in preserving the Thai New Year tradition during Songkran Festival 2026 through a merit-making ceremony and a traditional water-pouring activity for auspicious blessings.
On 20 April 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosjana Chandhasa, Vice-President for Research and Development, together with AsstProf Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, as well as the Institute’s executives and personnel, participated in offering alms and essential supplies to monks at Ratchathiwat Ratchaworawihan Temple for good fortune and blessings.
Following the ceremony, participants joined the traditional Rod Nam Dam Hua activity to pay respect and receive blessings from the Institute’s administrators. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yothin Sawaengdee, Advisor Researcher to the Institute for Research and Development, also shared his blessings and meaningful reflections in a warm and respectful atmosphere.
This activity reflects the importance of preserving Thai cultural heritage while strengthening unity, goodwill, and positive relationships within the organization. It also aligns with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
