Institute for Research and Development Organizes “Good Soil, Beautiful Plants” Activity to Promote Sustainable Use of Natural Resources

From 20 to 21 May 2026, the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a knowledge-sharing activity titled “Good Soil, Beautiful Plants” at Duangkamon Kindergarten School in Ranong Province.

The activity aimed to provide practical knowledge on soil mixing, soil improvement, and soil preparation suitable for growing household vegetables. It was conducted under the project “Learning Center for the Use of Innovation in Sustainable Community Resource Management,” as part of the Rajabhat University strategy for local development.

Participants gained hands-on experience in caring for soil and preparing it for cultivation, promoting awareness of the valuable use of local natural resources and sustainable production practices. The activity encouraged learners to apply the knowledge in daily life and develop a better understanding of resource-based learning within their community.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

The activity also reflects Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University’s role in applying knowledge, research, and innovation to improve community quality of life, promote local resource-based learning, and continuously support sustainable development at the local level.
