On September 1, 2026, the Intellectual Property Management and Business Incubation Division of the Institute for Research and Development, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, assigned Lecturer Atidtaya Buasri, Vice-Director for Intellectual Property Management and Business Incubation, to conduct a field visit to share knowledge with entrepreneurs and members of the Khae Om Sufficiency Agriculture Community Enterprise, Ban Bang Ko, Khae Om Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
The training activity was conducted under the topic “Product and Customer Group Analysis, and the Development of Distinctive Selling Points for Community Products.” It aimed to enhance marketing knowledge and skills among local entrepreneurs, covering product potential analysis, target customer identification, the discovery of distinctive product values, and communication of selling points that align with consumer needs. The activity supported entrepreneurs in applying the knowledge gained to product development, marketing planning, and market access through both offline and digital channels, leading to increased product value and sustainable income generation for the community.
The program was honored by Lecturer Rinnaranee Saneewat from Business Guide Co., Ltd., who served as the guest speaker and shared knowledge on product analysis, consumer behavior, target customer identification, the development of product differentiation and selling points, as well as marketing communication strategies and the application of digital tools to expand market opportunities for community products. The session emphasized practical learning that entrepreneurs could directly apply to their own products.
This field activity was part of the “Project to Upgrade Research-Based Prototype Products toward Commercialization,” reflecting the university’s role in connecting knowledge, research, and expertise in product and marketing development with the needs of local entrepreneurs. The initiative promoted entrepreneurs’ ability to analyze product potential, define market positioning, and communicate product value in alignment with target customers. These efforts aim to create competitive opportunities, increase product value, advance community products toward commercial utilization, and strengthen the local economy based on self-reliance and the meaningful use of local resources.
The activity is directly linked to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, particularly through the promotion of entrepreneurship, the development of essential business skills, and the enhancement of community enterprises’ capacity to generate added value and income from their own products.
In addition, the activity is connected to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through the application of university knowledge and research outputs to support product development and strengthen the business capacity of local entrepreneurs. It also aligns with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by strengthening the grassroots economy through the development of community members and products, enabling communities to generate income and achieve sustainable self-reliance.
This initiative therefore serves as another important mechanism through which Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University advances its missions in research and academic services for local development. It connects university knowledge with practical utilization and helps create tangible economic opportunities for entrepreneurs and communities.
